Lost + Connection
Lost and Connection is an album of five short pieces reflecting a personal journey of mine through the rediscovery of my relationship with music composing. The order and movements of the pieces being ‘Respite’, ‘Worry’, ‘Love’, ‘Sickness’, and ‘Progress’.
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Composition Five Concert 2024 featured a subset of these pieces.
Lost & Connection sends reminders of the in-between spaces in our day to day lives, and represents cycles of ups and downs in it.

Sweet Reminders
Sweet Reminders is a piece containing three moments of happiness depicted through three movements of music for the beautiful flute, clarinet, harp, and string quartet ensemble.
The piece directs us to find some joy - even during difficult times - by portraying three different kinds of happiness:
I. Excitement
II. Contentment
III. Love
The piece’s first movement was first performed at The Sydney Conservatorium’s composition final year showcase, and was rehearsed and filmed too.

Unearthing Stars
“Amongst the dreamy vast sky is a carpet of stars ready to be unearthed by the hour. The short piece depicts the stars as glittery, yet dark, bright, yet enigmatic.”
