Against Winds

‘Against Winds’ is a contemporary art piece written for two very melodic instruments. The piece depicts an entity journeying against strong winds, where the textures and layers of the instruments depict the bending, changing strength of the incoming gusts.

Beyond 'Further Away'

Beyond ‘Further Away’ is a piece composed as a study of quartal / quintal harmony, and how the harp and piano’s similar timbre interact. The piece asks these instruments to blend or shine through each other’s textures when needed.

The mock-up production of this piece was licensed for Sydney Arts Students Society’s (SASS) First Nations, Black and People of Colour literary journal, Wattle in 2021.
